New SL99k Elite
MIDO 2024: CSO REVEALS THE ADVANCED SL99K ÉLITE SLIT LAMP, TECHNOLOGICAL UPDATE OF THE SL9900 ÉLITE MODEL AND ORGANIZES A SYMPOSIUM ON THE ROLE OF INSTRUMENTATION IN CONTACT LENS APPLICATION
Milan, 12 January 2024 - CSO, a leading company in the ophthalmological instruments sector, is pleased to announce the official release of the SL99K Elite, the long-awaited technological update of the renowned SL9900 Elite model. This revolutionary version will be previewed during the international MIDO convention (Stand G24-H23 – pavilion 3) and available on the market starting from March 2024.
The SL99K Elite introduces a series of new features designed to improve the user experience in acquiring images of the ocular structures, making the examination easier and more ergonomic. Among the main features of the new tool:
• Multifunction Joystick
• Allows, in addition to the photo taking function, to switch between photo and video modes
• Programmed to adjust image exposure during shooting giving precise control to the user.
• Potentiometer with Double Controls
• Present on the base of the instrument, it allows adjustment of the intensity of the main and background illuminator.
The user will therefore be able to manage all the functions relating to image acquisition without ever taking his hands off the instrument; furthermore, the magnification changer automatically communicates to the Phoenix application the magnification used to take the photos, thus allowing precise measurements of the eye and appendages.
The new features are integrated into a completely renewed design, entirely "made in Italy".
